A Florida native, Karen has been creating art her entire life.. While her primary medium is clay, she also enjoys textile arts and sculpture. Her art often reflects her passion for nature. She recently earned a BFA in Studio Arts that hangs proudly next to her BA in Mathematics Education from USF.

Gardening has been a lifelong hobby and recently Karen's focus has been on creating healthy  habitats for birds, bees, and butterflies. With this art work, she hope's to raise awareness of the fragile habitats of all the pollinators and encourages everyone to find ways to participate in their future conservation.
